Ballarat 2011 Tournament

 Grays – Ballarat Masters Tournament 2011

Another successful VMSA tournament was conducted over the weekend 18th – 20th November. Congratulations to the 192 entrants that enabled us to field 12 sections.

Particularly pleasing was the large number of new or first time entrants better known to us in Masters as “virgins”. Our great sponsors Grays provided great prizes of rackets and bags and other accessories for all winners in each section.

Our section 1 winner was Peter Gilbee who followed up his success in Bendigo with another title this time in Ballarat. Peter defeated Malcolm McClarty in a tight four set match of the highest quality. Congratulations to all other winners over the tournament.

Hope everyone had a great time and I look forward to seeing you all back on the court in 2012.
